Service Terms and Conditions

"BACS" and “BACS Contamination Control” refer to "BACS Pty Ltd", ABN 18 002 409 574. BACS Pty Ltd is an Australian company.

1. Conditions

1.1 These terms and conditions are specific to services. 

1.2 BACS Pty Ltd reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions without notice at any time.

2. Payment & Price

2.1 Prices are in Australian dollars.

2.2 Prices are exclusive of GST.

2.3 Payment terms for customers who have a BACS account are 60 days from the invoice date.

  • 2.3.1 An account application must be completed to establish credit with BACS.
  • 2.3.2 Late payments incur an additional 5% charge per month on the value of the balance of the outstanding amount.
  • 2.3.3 In the event that outstanding payments are overdue more than 30 days from our agreed terms, BACS will suspend further service until the overdue money is paid. Should an account be suspended twice, you will need to establish a new account with BACS to proceed with future services.

2.4 If no BACS account exists, full payment is required immediately upon receipt of invoice.

2.5 BACS accepts major credit cards, with charges being made when service is complete.

2.6 An official work or purchase order is required before service begins.

2.8 Invoices can be broken down by individual department, howeve BACS reserves the right to charge an extra fee to cover administrative costs if this is not requested prior to the start of the service.

2.9 Prices are subject to the application of Federal and State tax legislation as and when enacted.

2.8. BACS Pty Ltd may vary prices annually by the amount of increase listed in the All Groups Consumer Price Index unless a customer is under contract for a specified time.


3.1 Unless otherwise specified, pricing is for service performed Monday to Friday between 6:30AM and 6:30PM.

3.2 If work is required during weekdays before 6:30AM, weekdays after 6:30PM, Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays, BACS will provide pricing on an after-hours basis.

3.4 Upon completion of a BACS service, BACS takes no responsibility for other tradespeople or customer personnel re-contaminating a serviced area. Clients will be charged for a separate service where BACS is required to re-clean.

3.5 For ad hoc and emergency services, minimum call-out fees apply.

3.6 For post-construction cleaning, retention monies will not be held by the customer and no liquidated damages will apply.

4 Variations

4.1 If the total induction time (online and onsite) exceeds 20 minutes per worker, then BACS reserves the right to charge an extra fee based on the induction time per cleaner, beyond the 20 minutes.

4.2 If contracted work is cancelled within 48 hours of the mutually agreed start date, a penalty of 15% of the service value, plus costs incurred due to the cancellation, will be charged.

4.3 On the day of service, any delays by the customer in accessing the site after the mutually agreed starting times will be billed at an hourly rate as an additional charge.

4.4 Interruptions to scheduled work will be charged at an hourly rate.

4.5 Pricing is dependent upon the site visits as scheduled. Should requests be made to clean contracted rooms on days other than those scheduled, then additional callout fees will apply.

4.6 BACS has provided pricing based on specific square meterage. Should actual room size vary, BACS will charge adjusted prices accordingly.

4.7 Pricing has been calculated at the contracted frequencies stated. Should frequencies change, BACS reserves the right to amend prices to reflect these changes.

4.8 Pricing is contingent upon the agreed scope of works. Changes to the agreed scope of work will require a new pricing. Where BACS is required to use an online payment, induction or scheduling portal, any costs associated with this portal will be charged to the customer.

5 Specifics

Unless specified in your quote, the following applies:

5.1 BACS will supply all materials necessary to complete the service.

5.2 BACS will supply a Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) specifically for the site.

5.3 BACS will supply MSDS for all chemicals used.

5.4 All BACS electrical equipment is tagged current.

5.5 BACS carries $20 million dollars public liability insurance.

5.6 BACS is compliant with all government Workers Compensation insurance and will provide documentation.

5.7 BACS will comply with site-specific WHS requirements and all staff will wear hard hats, visibility vests, steel capped shoes, safety glasses and protective gloves where applicable.

5.8 All BACS staff have been inducted for and carry the Work Health and Safety cards.

5.9 Cleaning will be done per specification above to reach the ISO 14644 standards.
