BACS brings a new wave of networking to the data centre industry, in the name of charity

On the evening of Thursday 24th May 2018, BACS is hosting an exclusive ticket-only event at Sydney’s Luna Park, in aid of two local Australian charities.

DCNC or Data Centre Networking Club, is an opportunity to bring everyone in the industry together, in a relaxed environment, steering away from the traditional ‘trade-show’ style format to make valuable connections aside from a social media platform or email chain.

The first of its kind in Australia, DCNC provides an excellent chance to meet with new and existing clients and service providers. The key difference is that it's about meeting peers and other professionals to swap notes, to laugh with – sharing challenges and successes, in a room with over 200 people from more than 60 different co-location, enterprise, wholesale and managed service data centre providers.

Don't miss out. Join us on the 24th of May and be part of the network. We have a limited number of tickets available. Follow the link below to purchase.

Bob Allan, Founder and MD of BACS Contamination Control since its launch in 1982 said:

‘To be successful commercially, it is becoming increasingly important to have solid relationships with key stakeholders and a positive impact socially. This event is the perfect way for this to happen.

The evening is in support of ‘The Smith Family’ and ‘Australian Seniors Computer Clubs Association’ charities and a combination of ticket sales and charity raffle ticket sales will go towards the running total for the final donation. We’re excited that we have a number of founding sponsors who have come on board to support the evening too, as we want to bring something new to the industry but more importantly raise awareness of these IT –related charities who look after both ends of the IT support age scale.

We hope that this will be the start of something which we can continue year on year, using our platform to enhance relationships and networks in the industry, but also something for the greater good too’.

The event, with Platinum Sponsors Stulz and Charity Sponsors PiTek, Grosvenor Engineering., Eziblank, Nilsen and Logical Building Automation, will include drinks and canapes, a charity raffle and a Q&A panel of industry leaders, with a stunning backdrop of the Harbour Bridge and City. The current guest list includes senior management, sales, service delivery, contracts administrators and builders from the likes of NEXTDC, Cockram, Taylor, Fujitsu, NBN and AFL Global.
