TechniSat® incorporates a pre-wetted TechniCloth® wiper made from a nonwoven, hydroentangled fabric blend of 55% cellulose and 45% polyester suitable for use in ISO Class 5-8 cleanrooms. This fabric combines the highly absorbent properties of a natural fibre with the cleanliness and strength of a synthetic fibre. It offers low particle counts, low extractable levels and solvent compatibility. TechniSat® wipers are pre-wetted with a 70% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) / 30% deionised water (DIW) solution filtered to 0.2 µm. This solution provides optimal microbial kill effectiveness for biotech applications, pharmaceutical manufacturing and food production. The wipers are packaged in resealable flexpacks ideal for cleaning applications requiring minimum dispenser size. Pre-wetted wipers are withdrawn through an opening incorporating a resealable label to prevent solvent evaporation. TechniSat® flexpacks are sheathed in a sealed outer bag for proper introduction into the cleanroom.
