Become a Certified Data Centre Cleaning Technician - Sydney
BACS are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Technical Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. The position is for a full-time member of our Sydney team, based in Chatswood, reporting to the Service Manager.
As a dynamic and energetic self-starter, your key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Providing leadership, supervision and direction to the cleaning team.
- Responsible for the delivery of exceptional cleaning services according to standards.
- Training and developing all BACS cleaners.
- Inspecting and conducting Quality Control.
- Be a competent and meticulous cleaner of designated areas including technical environments involving scrubbing surfaces, dusting, mopping, vacuuming. This may also include ancillary cleaning of toilets and refilling consumables, etc.
Key skills for this role include:
- Solid experience in the cleaning industry.
- Minimum 2 years experience in supervising staff.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Flexibility in availability in meeting peak demands during and after business hours.
- WHS awareness on cleaning sites.
- Cert III or IV in Asset Maintenance will be viewed favourably.
Please note that you will need to:
- Complete a successful Police background check.
- Possess Australian Citizenship.
- Pass security background checks to obtain high-level Government clearances.
- Hold a current valid relevant Australian driver’s licence.
- Attend multiple jobs per day in Sydney and surrounding areas, with occasional travel to regional and interstate areas.
You will be provided full training, fully equipped and fully maintained vehicle, garments and communication devices to excel in your role.
