September 2019 - Mark Jepsen is the new BACS National Service Manager

BACS Contamination Control has named Mark Jepsen as our National Service Manager. Known for his ability to keep meetings short and on-topic, Mark is part of the senior management team and in charge of Human Resources for the company. He is responsible for overseeing the work of all BACS technical cleaners and service schedulers across Australia. His role is pivotal to ensuring that every BACS service meets customer expectations, both in terms of quality and value. With over 29 years spent in customer service, Mark has

  • 15 ½ years of face-to-face customer support experience in software and hardware with Toshiba and Konica Minolta.
  • 13 ½ years remote technical support experience with Fuji Xerox Australia and Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific including managing the Graphic Communications and Remote Hardware Support teams for 6 years.

Mark will continue to optimise service delivery, implement and expand the competency-based service training program, and ensure that BACS remains an inclusive working environment where employees are empowered and feel valued.

Mark Jepsen National Service Manager

Like Russell Crowe and Crowded House, Mark is originally from New Zealand but we claim him as one of our own. He’s been a Sydneysider for 22 years and is based at the BACS Chatswood NSW head office. He travels nationally on a regular basis and has already met the BACS teams in Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane and Perth.

Mark is a rugby union fan who likes to watch and support his favourite teams, the Wellington Hurricanes and the New Zealand All Blacks. Mark's favourite player, Christian Cullen, is known as the greatest attacking fullback of all time and has played for both teams. When not working for BACS, Mark rides his motorbike and keeps fit with callisthenics. If you ever need to know about the finer points of beer appreciation, then Mark is your expert.
